Amy & Josh – A St. Louis Engagement Session!

Earlier this month, I had the privilege to meet up with Amy and Josh in downtown St. Louis. My dear friend Devan roadtripped with me, met up with fellow St Louis photographer Paula Jost, had a delicious lunch at the Old Spaghetti Factory, and then spent 4 hours shooting this amazing couple! Amy and Josh are getting married back in Burlington in August, and I am really looking forward to it!

Ready for image overload? I had such a great time, it was hard to narrow it down!

We started out walking around Laclede’s Landing, photographing against the beautiful buildings.

A little parking garage fun!

Then we headed to the Gateway Arch. Thanks to Paula for these shots of me hard at work. Who says you can’t lay down on the job?

Here is what everyone around us saw…

And here is what I saw…

What everyone else saw…

And what I saw… (a couple minutes later, that is)

Amy and Josh are Cardinals fans, so we couldn’t resist shooting at Busch Stadium, but first we took a ride in their Jeep!

The End!

Big Brother, Little Brother – Cale & Colt – Burlington, Iowa Newborn Photographer

A couple years ago, I met the cutest little baby boy, and took the cutest shot of him fast asleep on his bookcase. Well, Cale is now a big brother to little Colt, and we just had to recreate it! He’s a happy big brother!

Cute little hats and wraps are so popular in the photography world right now, and they are too cute to resist!

I just love this little egg! He looks so cute tucked away, just relaxing!

Congrats to Lindy and Scott on your beautiful boys!

Beautiful Sisters!

These little girls have a very special place in my heart. Little S and I were best friends the first time we met, and Baby A is such a sweet little cuddlebug! We did this session in the comfort of their own home, and I had a great time playing with them.

Little S and I had a lot of fun playing in her room!

She had a lot of fun jumping in her crib!

It wore her plum out!

Baby A was a micro-preemie, born 3 months early! At 5 months, she’s barely bigger than my litlte one was at birth, but she has a big personality to make up for her little size!

She wasn’t happy about the little elf hat, and smushed up her sweet little face in protest!

This cradle is a beautiful family heirloom, and while she was really calm most of the time she was in it, I couldn’t resist when she told us she wanted out! So cute!
